What qualifications do I need?
You just need to have a caring heart and want to make a difference in people’s lives.
Do I need to drive?
To optimise your hours, having your own vehicle is an advantage. However, if we have clients in walking distance, that is near where you live, we can certainly accommodate you.
Is there a chance for career progression?
Yes, we always promote from within as we want our staff to value the Meadows Homecare ethos.
What qualifications are available to me?
We promote a learning culture and provide a full induction program by a qualified trainer to incorporate everything you need to know for your role, with ongoing support. We believe that knowledge is key, so we will mentor and support you to do courses like NVQ/QCF courses. We work with Skills for Care to continually improve your knowledge, and you will gain the Care Certificate.
What are the shift patterns?
We offer flexible working hours and will try to meet your needs where possible while maintaining continuity of care for our clients. Please contact us to find out more as we care for our clients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
What is the pay?
Very competitive rates of pay, plus mileage, annual leave and pension contributions plus a Christmas bonus and referral schemes for clients and carers
Do you get a refer a friend bonus?
Yes, we reward our staff for referring their lovely friends who start working for us.
How do you show staff your appreciation?
We recognise the hard work of our staff with Carer of the Month awards and a Christmas bonus. We hold quarterly meetings to celebrate the successes of the teams, with messages from staff and clients to convey their gratitude.
