The Meadows Memory Café
Your needs,
Your care,
Your way
At Meadows Home Care, we believe that everyone deserves to feel valued, connected and supported, regardless of a dementia or memory loss diagnosis. With this vision in mind, we proudly launched The Meadows Memory Café, making a commitment to help create a more dementia-friendly community.
Our first Memory Cafe
Our very first Memory Café was established in partnership with Home from Home Sefton, thanks to funding awarded by our local police. From the very beginning, we pledged to make it our mission to improve the lives of people living with memory problems and dementia by creating welcoming spaces where they could continue to enjoy meaningful activities, social interaction and companionship.
Recognising that there were very few opportunities within our local community for people living with dementia and their families, we launched our monthly Memory Café at Lydiate Village Centre, held on the first Friday of every month (excluding bank holidays).
Our Commitment
Our commitment to creating a dementia-friendly community remains at the heart of everything we do. Through compassion, collaboration, and community spirit, we hope to ensure that no one living with dementia or caring for someone who is ever feels alone.
Everyone is welcome, and together we can continue building a community where people living with dementia are understood, supported, and celebrated.
